Vesak 2007

Vesak day, there's a grand temple opens. Floats depicting the Buddha in different cultures are parked right beside the grand new Buddha Tooth Relic Temple along South Bridge Road. China town is lighted up with dragon post lamps and red banners are hung from lamp post to lamp post. There's a new buzz in town.

Still stuck in office, wife calls. No keys to the house, on the cab from the airport. Reaching in 15 minutes. I grab my stuff and rush home.
