Fair weather weekend

It has been nice & cool over this weekend. A nice reprieve from the hot weather for the past 3 months.

Despite the rain, manage to go cycling at Pasir Ris Park followed by a lunch at Changi village hawker centre. Ipoh hor-fun was good. Too bad the fried carrot cake was mediocre. So was the ayam penyet bought from the stall nearest the popular nasi lemak stall. Will try the middle of the three ayam penyet stall next time.

All is well

I guess this is as good as it gets. Not too busy at work, still manage to come home by 8pm and only after playing a few rounds of table tennis. With two potential career prospect, it is just me procrastinating and not polishing up my CV. What's with me? I'm subconciously always sabotaging my own success.

Alright! Better get to doing my CV by this Fri. And maybe figure out google's api, GData.

Save the 3rd rock from the sun

Climate change has never been felt so much till of late. Men has ignored timely warnings from scientist till now. Every 30 mins of TV time, I see advertisements promoting save the earth, save gaia. Concerts held strategically round the world, Live Earth gets TV coverage broadcasting to billions on Earth. TV audience, especially to the developed/developing countries. Makes me wonder, aren't these concerts itself consuming energy and in turn contribute to global warming or now the hype phrase, climate change? And where are these concert organisers from? US of A. But of course, the country and people that contribute the most to global warming. The land of excess and consumption.
