Handicap toilet use

Everyone has their own view, including me. But when a 'celebrity' makes one, it gets publicised by the media. It is news worthy and it generates sales. So when XiaXue made one it stirred up quite a reaction. XiaXue is a veteran at this, one post like this and she gets her web hit counters up. So what if she loses two of her sponsors. She needs the eyeballs to maintain her pride. Sad. Then again, I do not know the full picture. I apologise for being judgemental.

But this is my current view. Handicap toilets should be reserved for the disabled, even if they aren't around. I have seen so many times where people take these things for granted. So what? Are you going to immediately vaccate the toilet when a handicap person knocks on the door? Even if the poor person might have a weak bladder? Have some compassion. And look at the MRT lifts, they are jam packed with able bodied people. Most times, when the lift is full, nobody bothers to step out and give way to the old, young toddlers/babies on strollers or a disabled person. SMRT/SBS must stick up posters and signs to tell you to give up your space is it? Perhaps SMRT/SBS should announce a canned message 'Please make way for those who need the lifts more then you!' aloud in the lifts. Wake up people! I believe what goes around comes around. These people will get their returns, in dividends!

Good point of view. If only everyone can imagine themselves being weak, old, on a wheelchair, carrying a baby, or all of the above! Then they'd know how it'd feel.
